Spondylosis

Spondylosis refers to osteoarthritis of the spine. It is the result of the aging process and accumulated wear and tear. Spondylosis causes loss of mobility and may involve bone spur formation. Spondylosis usually causes centralized neck or low back pain but may cause radiating pain and neurological symptoms if bone spurs (osteophytes) compress nerve roots or the spinal cord.
