Radiology/MRI Services

The Center for Pain Management regularly uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to diagnose and treat patients’ medical conditions. According to the American Academy of Radiology, musculoskeletal MR imaging is usually the best choice for examining the body’s major joints, the spine and soft tissue of the extremities.

MR imaging is used to help diagnose or evaluate:

  • degenerative joint disorders such as arthritis,
  • spinal disk abnormalities such as herniated disc,
  • sports-related injuries and work-related disorders,
  • pain in and around the joints and bones.

The Center for Pain Management also offers its MRI services to referring physicians, clinics and chiropractors who require convenient imaging services to effectively diagnose and treat their patients. Our radiology technicians skillfully conduct the procedures. Radiologists will read the films and provide a report in a timely manner. These services are provided by the Center’s sister organization, Meridian MRI.
