Do you want to learn better ways to manage your chronic pain? Our Chronic Pain 101 outpatient group program may be an option. This is a skill-building pain treatment program for those living with chronic pain.
Our licensed clinical psychologist guides the group through learning techniques to help manage pain, cope with the social and emotional impacts of living with pain, and identify ways to increase functionality in their daily lives. Groups meet for 50 minutes weekly at our Indianapolis office, for eight to 10 weeks. Contact us to learn more about our skill-building Chronic Pain 101 group treatments.*
Each week, group members learn new skills that can help them manage their pain while learning from others also living with chronic pain. Topics for Chronic Pain 101 include activity management, sleep, relationships, managing your feelings about pain, and many others. Additional groups are currently in development.
Our clinical psychologist has designed the group to help patients take charge of their own health and keep pain from taking control of their lives. Patients get the most benefit from this treatment when they attend all sessions.
If you’d like to learn some strategies to help you manage your pain more effectively now and in the future, this program may be for you. Please fill out the form on this page or contact our psychological services for more information on this program:
